White smoke is coolant being burnt. Most likely headgasket. Do a leakdown test.

take it to your local dealership, they can do the leakdown test.

your not wrong...but burnt vavles seals would only result in oil being burnt and a dark blue smoke...not white smoke from coolant

price on a headgasket itself is less than $100, its the labor that places charge to do it that adds on so much money to the bill.

Leakdown requires an air supply from a compressor

well, Im just saying, you may have to. But from what your saying thats what it sounds like. Look at it like this, if you're going to change your head gasket, the pistons are right there in front of you. So it wouldn't hurt to maybe change the piston rings, just for peace of mind atleast. Just take off the oil pan, pop em right out from under neath. You may need a friend to help you. Maybe change the water pump and timing belt also if you want to go all out.

Do a leakdown test. Replacing parts blindly is foolish.
