Re: Smashed thrust washer H22
The FW side thrust washer is the one that takes all the pressure from the clutch. If you use sub-par oil or a heavy clutch pressure plate spring or you ride the clutch while at traffic lights then that will cause that thrust washer to wear faster. In your pics there it looks like the crank's thrust washer surface needs to be machined as it's no longer flat and smooth.
I don't think that there are different sizes of thrust washers from Honda. It's just one size. I've known people to swap the two from side to side to even out the wear on budget rebuilds but for the price it's just easier to replace them both. After you do that you just need to check the crank end play along its axis of rotation. If it's too sloppy with new bearings then you'll need to fix/replace the crank.

Re: Smashed thrust washer H22
You could also remove the clutch switch cutout on the starter circuit so that you can start the car without holding in the clutch. Make sure it's not in gear though... That saves wear on the thrust bearing on startup when it doesn't have any oil.

i must admit i like it, however its not safe. im used to it, but from time to time people will move my car or whatever and they tend to like to park in gear for some strange reason no matter how many times i tell them its not necessary and DONT do it... lol... there have been times when i have started it and its been in gear... im lucky nothing has happened though..
