Default Replacing a PCV valve

The prelude i'm looking at is a '94 S with a JDM H22. It has a bad pcv valve causing the idle to bounce at times. My question is, what kind of PCV valve would I look for because it's a JDM engine, would it be the same as a regular 4th gen?

Also, is it as easy as unscrewing the old valve and putting the new one in?

If I left any necessary info out, let me know. Thanks in advance.

To answer your question, yes they are the same. The pcv just pops into place and there is no "screwing" required. However, if your idle fluctuates, its probably not your pcv valve.

Idle surging can be any number of things. There is a good thread how to trouble shoot it here.

The first thing to do is to check for vacuum leaks when
you have a bouncing idle.

to check the pcv valve to see if it is working properly pull it out from the valve cover (leave all lines attached) Then put your finger on the bottom side (the side that would go into the valve cover)

If you hear a clicking noise then you know it is working.

It just pulls right out, no unscrewing needed.
