I wonder if he did any ducting to get air to the rear mounted intercooler

It looks to me like the whole body back there is open on the bottom, so air flows under the car and up, may provide a little venturi effect at speed if it works right? Personally I would think they use the nitrous to spray down the intercooler as well.

Thats what I was assuming aswell. Another " how do I convert my prelude to an s2000" thread!

Pretty cool though!

Where would the intake end up?
Intercooler in the rear bumper, so I would guess the intake is under the car somewhere with no visable sings of a scoop as an MR2 would sport?

Wouldn't be that hard of a chop job. Probbably 10 K or what to make the prelude a RWD? Fabrication and labour would be the highest costs as parts don't really change. Less exhaust tubing by length which would be ideal for performance reasons aswell.

How would the weight balance be though with the engine in the rear now?

Is there any dollar value to doing this swap (to the op who posted this topic)?

It looks like the intake does indeed get routed to behind the rear bumper. I believe the red piping you can see on the driver's side in the second picture is the intake.

I agree. He just needs to work on suspension tuning and hooking up... then he should be able to dip into the 11's with that power.

I did. Like I was saying, after he dials everything in he will hit 11's no problem.
