prelude reverse lights not coming on!!
i finally finished my JDM H22 swap into my 92 prelude si. i also converted my prelude from automatic to 5 speed. the plug that went into the auto shift assembly has nowhere to be plugged into.
can i wire it to a switch and just turn the lights on when i want to reverse? if so, how do i wire it?
its 2 wires, i think they were yellow and green/black.
any help is appreciated, normally i wouldnt care about something so minor but i need it working to get my safety check so i can register the car.
thanks HT

I'm not too familiar with JDM swaps, but are you by any chance using a 5th gen USDM harness? (Not saying others wont work, but I know the USDM one will) Check this out: http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...33#post1916033
The wiring is for a USDM auto converted to a 5 speed.
Good luck

I had the same problem on a EK that came into our shop, converted to manual. There is a 2 wire switch on top of the H22 trans. run those 2 wires directly to the green and yellow wires. it doesnt matter which one you hook up. (Its a switch) Just run 2 extra wires from the trans, thru the firewall, and to the wires inside.

The speed sensor? That is the same. But the reverse switch on an auto trans Lude is on the shifter near the center console. On a 5spd the switch is on the trans.

OK, In the console, the A/T gear position switch,on the connector, there should be a Yellow wire and next to it a Green/Black wire. These are the two wires to hook-up. also make sure fuse 13 under dash fuse is ok.
