Parking/Dash lights out.... Dimmer Switch?
I've checked and rechecked all fuses... lights were working fine, parked for 4 hours, then fired up to head home... and wallaa.
EVERYTHING is fine except for the marker/parking lights and analog dash lights don't turn on.
Could a bad dimmer switch cause this? I notice the clock doesn't dim when the headlights turn on.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
No recent installs, don't use black tape, not blowing fuses..... 92Si

Could possibly be a relay or the multiplex unit. Recheck every fuse inside the car and under the hood again just to be sure

I've checked every fuse inside and out 5 times now, pulling each individual one, at a time.
Hence me thinking it's the dimmer relay.
When I hit the "headlights" position I hear the relay click (ignition off).
Nothing from the dimmer relay....
Another reason I'm leaning this direction.

well then since every fuse seems to be good, a relay may have fried and/or something fried in the multiplex unit....I had a similar problem. While I was hooking up my radio, I accidently touched a wire onto metal, and killed my dash lights. All the fuses were fine, but I fried something inside the multiplex unit. Once I put a new one in, everything worked just fine

I don't know exactly where the multiplex is on a 4th Gen. but on 5th Gens., its a little black box on the passangerside, behind the kick panel. It may be the same for the 4th Gen.

Well, I took apart the dimmer switch and the dimmer relay, everything "appears" fine. I ran a continuity check on both the light relay and dimmer relay posts.
I got juice on the light relay posts (lights off) and no juice on the posts for the Dimmer Relay posts (parking lights on).
My guess is it's the column switch. Taking it in to Honda tomorrow for a quick check to tell me what's wrong for sure. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Re: (92wraith)
Well, I finally gave up and took it to honda today.
After watching 3 techs for 3 hours trace lines, test lines.. pull the fuse box, etc.
The end result is the fuse panel itself.
Have another one on the way... didn't buy a new one, Honda wants 275 bucks for a factory unit.... NOT.
Picked one up at the junkyard, mint shape, for 12bucks, lol.
I'll let ya know if the baffled techs were right.
