Idle problem with H23A Vtec
i have a question, i put the h23a into my 96 prelude si, when i went to plug everything in the iacv was different so i put the top of the intake & TB on from my h23a1. now i have a problem with it idling at like 1500 to 2000 rpms, i changed the iacv for a new one, nothing happened still messed up, so i put and old one on and nothing im not sure what to do. when i was messing around with the car one day i realized that my cold air intake was really loud so i took it off, thinking the filter was dirty. As i was F&(ing with things i cover one of the holes with my finger and the idle dropped back down to normal so i tried covering both holes the car wants to cut out, does ne one have ne ideas about what the hell is going on??????
Also i coverted everything back to obd1 and i am using a chipped p06

Ignition timing and doing the idle learn procedure would be 2 good places to start. Download the manual from spoonertuner.com if you're not familiar with how to do the idle learn procedure.

What do you mean by "chipped P06"? Was it dynotuned for this setup? Ignition timing and fuel are probably incorrect for you application causing your erratic idle.
