I thought about adding that but since its the same for all F/H motors I figured its best left out of the thread... I didnt think it was much of a need to know type spec...

The F22Ax & F22B1 VTEC both have 34mm Int valves & 29mm Exh valves if I remember correctly...

While the...

F22B2 has 32mm intake valves and 29mm exhaust valves...Strangeness I know...

and even though numerous sources list the F22Ax heads as having 50.5cc chambers they in reality have 50cc chambers...

and if I might be so bold as to request the addition of the F22B DOHC, the F20A DOHC and the F20A SOHC...

Add em and I'll send what info I have on em...

for the thread though.... it's about time someone made a good solid repository of this info...

Can anyone post how compression ratios are affected by various alterations like thinner/thicker head gaskets, milling the head, etc. I know this is depends on which motor/head your dealing with, but if you can at least put the calculation method in the main post it will be helpful.
I'm sure someone has it memorized, but if not I'll have a look at my books tonight and see if I can post it.

I have that head getting cc'd aswe speak... Ill post up results by the end ofthe week

Ill take a look at flyrod's thread in a few minutes, thanks

edit:

I will have dome volume specs for USDM H22, JDM H22, F20B and F22 pistons soon... Jdogg is taking a trip to RLZ to have magic man Brad Z cc everything

Im gonna hold off on calculations untill everything gets cc'd, giving definitive specs for the most accurate calculations...

rick you listed the f23a1 as 1.181 compression height, could one assume this is for all f23ax?

edit:

agian rick i wanted to mention the f20c , pretty much disreguarding the head but the pistons are high compression forged frm compatable with a relatively short compression height

also the 04+ f20cs have a 90.7 stroke witch means the rods could be of some use

also the 00-03 have a 84mm stroke and the rods could be possibly used in a hybrid setup..

also the f20c pistons have a 87mm bore and they have the same pin diameter as the other motors mentioned here as well as if my memory servers me right has a usuable big end bore of the rod, meaning it is the same as atleast one fot he motors listed here i just don't remember which.

I would say its safe to assume so, there arent any variations in the stroke, rod length or deck height between the different F23's... It would be kind of odd if there was actually a difference in compression height ::shrugs::

well just so i have a one stop shopping spot im going to put the f20c info up

99-03 86mm stroke
rod
155.65mm lenght
BE bore is 2.008
piston
1.181 compression height

04+ 90.7 mm stroke
rods probably same spec as h22a4

Are you going to make a compression calculator for the H/F series motors?

<----- willing to help out if there are any monetary requirements

Anyone know the deck height of the F20c ?
also the rod width and, if the F20/22c have the same piston compression heights?.

Next ; does anyone know the dome cc's for the F22b/F20a ( dohc & sohc ) and, F20z ? Do the all ( F20 a vs F22b) have the same piston compression height ?
That's been bugging me for 2 years. Just came back from a 4 month stay but, did not have time or resources to find that info...

F22 and H23 cranks are identical, same exact part number from Honda... Same goes for the rods
