Default Newly Installed JDM M6HA Auto Tranny Fail To Operate

Received the JDM H22A & M6HA TIPTRONIC Automatic Tranny, filled with new Honda Auto Tranny Fluid. Finally get the engine running, and the tranny will not engage into any gear, nor will it engage back into Park, merely emit loud "clicking" sounds. Adjusted the shift lever IAW service manual, NEGRES. Jacked up passenger side wheel, removed shift cable cover on tranny, manually set shift rod to Park position, rotated tire by hand, emitted "clicking" sound. Park Pawl still not engaging Park Gear. Please help before I pull this back out and remove the rear tranny cover to check the condition of the Park Pawl.

Idk much about trannies but my guess is could be a TCU problem? I think you also need to be running a auto tranny ECU. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm trying to learn lol

Thank You for the reply. I simply replaced an H22A4 eng & TIPTRONIC Auto with another. Can't help but think it has to be mechanical, as the one in the garage, I can rotate the shift shaft on the tranny and engage the Park Gear, but not on this one. I guess i will be testing the shift solenoids and swapping out the TCU next. Sure don't want to pull this engine/tranny out again, wasn't very much fun the first time.

Problem solved, tested reconnected solenoids, readjustment shifter and linkages, removed and reset drive shafts, OPTEST SAT.
