Looks like a home made intake. All 4th gen ludes came with dual tip mufflers. All Prelude's that came to North America came with sunroofs.
Also, you have JDM black housing one piece headlights!
Looks like a nice start, and in great shape for the mileage. It looks to have had a paint job somewhere along the road, and the front spoiler/lip/chin and side skirts got painted to match which is sweet. That rust will begin to surface again though.

it's definitely in good shape...you put build but you haven't given us any description on what route and parts you're gonna take. I'd been in to see another build thread pop up. I wish i woulda held off on creating a build thread until i was nearly done cause mine has taken me almost 2 years, but she's almost done now!

Re: My H22 92 Prelude Build *Lots of pics*
You're right. Ill let you guys know what I will be doing
1st thing is 1st, PASS THE E TEST!!! haha. ontario canada has changed it now as to where their computer plugs into the ECU. so its way harder to pass. if your car throws out an engine code....FAIL. but i feel confident that i will pass, no engine light and it seems to run good. i will be changing the filters, plugs and oil before i go for the test though.
its too damn cold to do anything really hahaha. but after i pass my e test, i will be lowering it 1.5 inches all around with skunk2 hardware.
then a nice interior clean up. ill be deleting that annoying center console that splits the back up.
put in red s2k leather seats and upholster the rear seats red leather.
when i finish those, ill update more things i will do

i took the VC off tonight to check the seals, and just to check if it was clean underneath. it was all good and damn...the engine bay is so dirty. its just all grease. i guess its a good thing lol. but with grease, comes dirt stuck to it
i gave the car a once over today, it looks pretty good. other then the minimal rust on the QP the seller just painted over to have a quick sale. i just noticed it today lmao. DO NOT BUY A CAR AT NIGHT. but 1000bux with a h22a...i wouldnt care if there was a hobo living in it.
looks good
i painted the spark plug cover silver. shoulda taken a pic of it re-done

H22A thats a 6.5 or 6.something 0-60 sec engine all stock, I recomend you the K20 Skunk2 intake manifold, its a lil bit better than the Euro-R it can increase around 20hp more, also eliminate the balanser shaft thats 10hp more, good luck man keep your head up and the great work

STOP driving your car. That timing belt is on its last legs!!! It has cracks going across the entire belt every tooth. That means it is about to snap any day now. Get that replaced ASAP!
I also bought my 4th gen from Hamilton back in 2011 Drove it all the way to Edmonton sight unseen.

putting a k20 skunk2 intake manifold on a stock h22. horrible idea.
balance shaft removal pretty much requires engine removal.
just tell him you have a SRV or 2.2 VTEC whichever shows up.

Nice pickup for $1k ! Yeah get that belt changed asap, then do a good pressurewash on the bay, get it all cleaned up, and go from there.
I dig the wheels, what are you running instead?
Oh and the dual tip exhaust will help keep you off the cop radar, unless it is damaged you should think about leaving it as well!

not trying to be annoying, but not all 4th gens came with dual tips... the s model comes with a single tailpipe...
the si and vtec models however did have two tailpipes...
looks good, one thing id do is replace the mounts...weird to say off the bat but i went for a few years with a busted mount right after i bought mine.

Re: My H22 92 Prelude Build *Lots of pics*
so the previous owner had an idea. he thought he would get more HP if he cut out the splash guard so the CAI filter can suck in more cold air. IDIOT
So I took off one piece of the intake and made it into a short ram. for now
