Motor Mount Problem??
Well, Since the first week of the car off the lot, I've been having this problem. At first I thought it was my axles but axles only make noise under pressure and when turning. The noise i'm having is a slight knocking, NOT Clicking. It seems like it's coming from the drivers side. Here's wut it is, when driving "car in movement" there is no noises or anything, no noise turning etc." The noise comes when i come to a complete stop and than i go to accelerate and right at acceleration there is a quick knock. It also does it in reverse when starting to reverse. When im on my drive way slanted and i let the car roll backwards and not in gear, it makes the knock continously. Any ideas?

I even took the car to the honda dealer and everytime i take it there, the car never duplicates the sound. It mostly gets worst on warm to hot humid days.

Re: Motor Mount Problem?? (Mr.Luder)
i don't know if you've checked your motor mounts this way, but put the car in gear, with the ebrake off, with the hood up (be careful it doesn't crash back down on your head) rock the car back and forth, while examining the movement of the mounts. because of the last thing that you said about rolling backwards out of gear down your drive and it still making the noise, i wouldn't think it's a motor mount - but until you investigate - what do i know? ...
best of luck.
best of luck.
