This is where I'm at, the caliper is removed from the lower control arm, but I can't seem to get the ball joint out. How do I get it out?

Did try banging the side of the lower control arm with a 4lb metal mallet?

Normally a pitman puller would have that piece out:

put a pickle fork underneath the ball section of the ball joint on your lca:

get a gear puller to pull the top section of the joint off your hub.

Try heating that guy up with a blow torch and then use acetone (with gloves) and then try giving it a good whack. That didn't work for me so I had to resort to sawzall haha good luck these guys always give me lip.

Just read about this trick. Put some extended ball joints in that
If its lowered and get your suspension geometry back.

if you want you can do some super back yard stuff and try jacking up just the ball joint and hit the lower control arm down
