keep blowing fuses trying to hook up upgraded horn ..
My prelude horn(s) are not loud enough, I'm not looking for an air horn .. electric would do fine. I've got some horns laying around the basement from my father's previous domestic car, bench tested them and they are loud. Went to install them in my car and horn fuses keep blowing ... What am I doing wrong ? Is it that my stock wiring is no good for these ?

Re: keep blowing fuses trying to hook up upgraded horn .. (street_ride14)
heres how to do it
Use an air horn, air compressor, 12V solinoid, 12V switch (or your stock push button)
The compressor air line goes through the 12V soliniod, than into your air horn. The solinoid is controlled by the switch. With 12V the switch closing, the air valve will open allowing the horn to blast. So having your stock horn button connected to the air solinoid should be all you have to do electrically.
How are you setting your horn up?
You could get a louder electric horn but you might come accross that it draws more power than your system can accomidate.

I'm just taking the positive and negative comming from the stock wiring harness that was connected to my stock horn and connecting them up to this other horn.
How would one wire an electric horn without blowing a fuse ? I want to hear from the ones that have done this to their cars, but any feedback would be appreciated.

you should find the ampherage draw on the new horn than. If its too high (more than the stock horn) it will blow the fuse.
Makesure they are 12V rated too
