Did you even try and search the forum first? Did you even look at the stickies first? Start there, we all have to learn to be better researchers, its not just handed to us.

Look what I found in the FAQ's at the top of the Prelude forum:

Not trying to be a jerk But did you read my post in detail??? JDM F22B not a f22a1-2 or F22b1-2. Out of all that stuff you posted nothing in there has anything to do with a JDM F22B block and H22 head combo. I have been searching for days and EVERYTHING I have found sofar is ppl doing the same thing I am doing and trying to see if there is anyone out there that has completed this swap and what problems they have run into!

DW, Iam in the same boat as you. I have a JDM F22b DOHC non-VTEC, with a snapped timing belt. But all I want to do is get it fixed as is, cheaply as possible. I am runnign into a MAZE of different information. These really are weird engines. ALMOST the same as H23, but not. Same bottom end as F22ax, but theyre not DOHC.

Did you get your problem resolved? If so, please share. I am really looking for a timing set that fits, and a head gasket set that also fits. Plus, I will need to figure out which valves I will have to replace.

I am not looking for performance upgrade at all, just trying to repair with as little impact on my wallet as possible

Plus anybody else, please share! Thanks!

From what most say the block is identical to the h block, you' end up with a low compression h22.

OK, so i found a f22a1 engine for $350, with a 90 day warranty. Do you guys think it will be cheaper to just replace the JDM F22B, with the A1? Or would it be cheaper to replace timing belt, repair head/valves and head gasket? Thanks!

I am leaning towards the F22a1, which is the engine which originally came in the car.

Also, do you guys think the F22B Is worth anything, if I do pull it out and replace it?
