Hello Everyone!

I'm very grateful for the help i got when i had a '97 integra gs-r; now I'm a proud owner of '96 prelude vtec. I just bought the car from a guy who couldn't get it started but the car ran until this summer. He thought it was the starter. I just connected a jumper wire from the started directly to the battery, put the ke to the ON position and it started right up. So i guess the problem is with the ignition switch. When i turn the key I hear a click in the ignition switch somewhere (not the click the starter makes) but nothing happens so I am driving around having to start the car under the hood every time.
Is there any fuses or relay I need to check before I replace the ignition switch? And do I need to replace the entire assembly or just small part with the key? While i was at it I also would like to install a kill switch somewhere. And what is the best online place to buy parts, the marketplace here seems to have mostly performance part.
