Default Immobilizer Bypass?

I've been doing my homework and researching, but haven't found anything in the archives.

So my keys were stolen last week while I was out of town, leaving my car stranded here on base. My friend at one of the Honda dealerships here (Pacific Honda) told me that all I had to do was bring the car in, and they'd reprogram the ECU to the new keys they'd cut for me. All well and good, except for the fact that the car is parked 30 miles away. He told me no problem, cut me a key with my VIN key codes, looked up the Immobilizer Defeat codes in the Interactive Honda database, and told me how to input the override car (using the brake pedal/ handbrake).

Two hours of later, I was no closer to getting the car started. Anybody know what I might have been doing wrong, or even if this is supposed to work? Any help would be great.

Yeah, that's the problem...my car is parked on a military base where security is tighter than a 14 year old Baptist girl at the moment. And the thing about the bypass is that you have to have the correct sequence, which is unique to each car and stored in the ECU, and also in Honda's database, so it'd be pretty hard to just steal a car that way...beside the fact that it's a pain in the *** to try and enter the code to begin with- 2 hours of trying yesterday with no luck.

I've read through the instructions to do what you're doing in my Helms. Good luck, it looks like an easy thing to mess up without knowing it.
