i think im going to lock tight them. i plan to make a good amount of power. 700 at least. its really just the far back one. (left side) that is stripped. the one on the right is decent. i get half the bolt to thread.

Re: IAluder95s Build thread H23vtec Turbo
well i got the tranny on with lock tight and lock washers. work damn well.
now i got another issue. i purchased a new harness, my old one was missing clips and was cut from previous owner. the one i purchased, however is missing the alternator clip. it has 8 wires. i went to the junk yard and found a 95 civic and took that one. it has all but one color wire the prelude does (the solid green wire). is it possible to just connect that wire directly to the harness? or should i find a clip?

ok, well im back to the drawing board. the plug rosko brought over wasnt the one i needed. my fault. i still need a distributor plug, the 8 wire plug or if you have a harness for obd1 ill take that.
also, im missing my ignition coil. can a coil from a f22 work for this project?

i suggest a better manifold for flow. i know money can be tight but manifold choice also effects downpipe and wastegate dumptube pieces. better to do everything right the first time.
also lose the turbo camshafts. skunk stage1 tuner series are the way to go.

here are the most recent pictures:
here was the issue i had with my distributor. notice the cut wires. luckie for me rosko found one in a junk yard for me. i also got a stock ignition coil off the car to.
in another update. i ordered ESP motor mounts. i hope they can handle better then the other mounts offered for this chassis. i watched roskos mount twist on him. i hope to get better quality from the ESPs. they are to arrive in two weeks. so till then this is all i got.

its coming along nicely, its been so long since i mailed that clutch away that im actually building another boosted prelude project. but for some reason im not regretting giving that clutch away one bit. maybe the T/O bearing, but not that 4puck at all. LOL i'll stick to a 6puck or drop the cash for a twin if i decide to make that much power

dagle i have three T/O bearings. if you need one let me know. ill mail it out.
also, i got the radiator in. the turbo and dump tube both have ZERO clearance. so im going to have to figure that out. the power steering cooler will be ran down into the driers side fender to get more clearance for the piping. ill post pics of that project as i get to it.

Re: IAluder95s Build thread H23vtec Turbo
ok tomorrow i start the Power steering relocation. i have decided to keep it for now. i see no problems running it and it doesnt really hurt anything.
on a side note the slicks i got dont fit over the NSX brakes. so i now decided that id rather have them then the brakes. so if anyone wants to purchase a set of DECENT condition calipers let me know they come with brand new pads.

Re: IAluder95s Build thread H23vtec Turbo
thanks to pirate he is selling my stock calipers. thanks again
here is the power steering relocation.
i purchase this kit through summit. its part number PRM-1008 and cost 81 bucks. its for ATV use, but will work perfect for this. it will keep the p/s coolant at 40 degrees and with it not in the engine bay it should get colder than that.
i cut one of hard pipes with a dermal tool and simply unplugged the feed line from the coolant bottle. it was the easiest way to accomplish my goal. plus with the location of two pre-cut holes in the engine bay that leads to the wheel well. that were used for A/C and Cruise that i no longer have. it made the ideal location.
before:
after:
ran the goodyear hose they give with the kit, after cutting it into two equal length pieces, through the hole that i planed to use. notice i reused the hose clamps from the piece i removed. i like those better than the ones they gave with the kit. however i had to use two of the screw type on the cooler.
after running the lines, i cut the hoses to the length i need to place the cooler where i wanted.
then proceed to use the hardware in the kit to make a place to mount it. i drilled two holes to mount the bracket to the wheel well. i used one of the four hole metal brackets and screwed into the wheel well. ran the two zip ties through it. as follows:
then mounted the cooler. you get how to finish i hope. slide the cooler down the zip ties and place the other 4 hole bracket with the zip tie connectors and cut the excess zip tie.
so i forgot to a picture of the cooler after it was all done.
