I want a header like this! Don't we all?
I am pissed that in order to get some headers like this I would have to make mine own which is not the end of the world but these are intense just to look at. I wish they made some for our preludes. This header is for b-series of course they get all the good stuff always more aftermarket support for them. Im wondering how much a header like this would cost to make.

Who is that from?
A quality header will easily cost $1k to be fabbed up. Have you seen the Highend headers or Vibrant's?

Biggest question is WHY.
Why do you want a header like that, for looks? If so, Bisi will take your money, and even call it "custom" even when it is mass produced in China.
If you have a specific flow requirement from your header, or think you do, there are header manfacturers who can make you a true custom header for your setup. They will cost you $1K or more, and you will have to supply engine details, and wait while it is built.
If you just want a header that flows better than stock, and doesn't break the bank, there are some other options out there like the Vibrant, or the Logic etc. replica headers.
Many options now require either cutting of the front crossmember, or switching to a traction bar.

No snobordboy what I really want is one of Blake's headers like the one pictured above that thing is a beauty and its hand crafted by him so I trust it to be the absolute highest quality possible. Screw Bisimoto headers they are indeed trying to take your cash and run with it and plus I am not a huge fan of them at all, he is just trying to get into as many car tuning magazine pages as possible. I am sure he is a good tuner and has a great mind for builds\ideas but I like the builds that are done by people who do not have the entire bank or shop at their fingertips and build cars because they love them, more or less garage builds.
I wouldn't mind spending $1000 on a true custom header like 98vtec's design, but then again I think I would just end up buying something around the $500 replica range, because I am some what broke right now.
And Bently Coop its from 1320 Performance, nice header for $332, just goes to show that b-series gets a bunch of aftermarket support.

Re: I want a header like this! Don't we all?
the only reason honda still has support is because the bigger shops havent quite been taken out by the replica companies and are still able to support the community. while the smaller groups who want to introduce their own products dont have a chance due to the market being flooded with people who just want to take your money by selling you something that took them no effort to sell you without really caring about the quality of the product or how it will perform.
the people who buy nice parts are but only a small fraction of the honda market. this is why i am 50/50 even offering these products. If they get popular, they will only be copied in an attempt to cut me out. I work out of my garage with basic fabrication equipment along with a fairly expensive tig welder and mildly interested in selling this stuff to be able to build my projects. But spending the time and money to test my products before offering them drives the price up and kids these days are happy with a ebay turbo kit.

98vtec I could not agree with you more on this. I know the replica companies out there are just trying to make a quick dollar off anyone now a days, and it definitely hurts the smaller shops or one man shows like you. I think this world has gone crazy and will do anything to make money off of any item or commodity, really sad but that is just how it has been.
I for one am wanting to buy one of your headers they are truly a work of art, almost as if you don't even want to install on it the car, because it looks like a trophy. I just would need to have $1000 to buy one, which is a pretty damn good deal since its fabricated all by hand and the quality and time spent on them is bar none. It is fabricators like yourself that make me want to purchase your product because you put your heart and soul into creating it, and you do not have an expensive robot doing all your welds like the other companies do who outsource to China.

i am very new to welding (tig for almost 4 months now) and still learning the ropes. I wouldnt consider myself a top contender or a great fabricator.....yet. just a guy wanting to leave a mark.
art? sure. but i want it to function, fit and hold together. Those are my main priorities. The "professional" welds to match the design will come in time and im getting there are on fairly steady pace.

And Blake you don't give yourself enough credit on that header you posted a picture of, that thing is awesome. And so what if the welds are not perfect is still looks damn good. I think it would take me an entire month just to make something similar like you did, even if I worked around the clock and had an entire machine shop at my disposable it still would look like ****, and nothing like yours. Like you said you do it for function and results not "ART" as I put it, but honestly if I had the extra cash I would have sent you the $ already.
