With the head rebuilt I'm seeing 245PSI per cylinder.
I needed to adjust the valves... But it's all good now.

are you sure on that 250-260psi thing, I'm not positive but that sounds alot high. I'm more curious than anything. Bummer about the head though good luck, seems like an excuse to upgrade

**** if i wasnt so busy around the house i'd tell ya to swing by nyc and rebuild the head in my garage, 
jdm and usdm heads are pretty much identical, i doubt the springs are different.
and waht i woudl do nwo is pull off the cover and see if any of the vlave springs are lower than the others. if they all see about the same level by eye, then the valves are probably not that bent and youshould be ok driving home

Pull the head. Do all the mantinence while your at it. ( new T belt, water pump etc.. )
You can still reuse that head just be ready for the down time. Get all the gaskets and everything you need from the dealership ready to roll. My local headshop had my head done in under 2 hours. Valve job, resurfaced, pressure tested, new seats cut if necessary for about 139 bucks. factor in the cost for new valves and all gaskets and stuff. Hope you like doing the whole tensioner reset cra. ( damnit i messing with the timing belt. )

All H series are dual spring. Ive got all my old ones from my previous build. Sending your head to the dealership is just plain retarted. Get out that KY, grab your ankles, and prepare for insertion.

Find a local HTer in Boston that is willing to help you out. Or get a family member to ship all your tools, or rent a car and go drive and get them. Use your noggin here. If you do all the work yourself you will save, my guess is atleast 300 bucks.

i wouldnt drive it at all i did the same thing to mine but i was at the top of third at 8 grand and goin to second instead of fourth so it hit like 11 or 12k but i only had 1 intake valve bent but all the exhaust valves were screwed along with the guides so i got a rebuilt jdm head from a buddy of mine for 500 bucks and trading him my head since i didnt need it but the valves were like 300 for a full set and a complete gasket kit for the head is like 220 i think from honda is what i got mine for with a discount but i kept the t belt since i just replaced it 2 months ago along with the water pump but sorry to hear that man but definately do the work yourself as far as pullin everything apart i never did check to see what a full rebuild would cost for that head though since i got the other one cuz it was cheaper for me and i had to get my car goin quickly.... but one thing that is freaking rediculous is that a new head from honda completely bare no cams or anything is 1500 bucks.

since your from nj if your able to get the car over i can rebuild the head for you or do w/e you need to get done.i can get deiscounts at honda and have spare valves/springs/retainers.
