H22 problems help my white ass please

Default H22 problems help my white *** please

i put a us h22 in my 94 vx my buddy did the harness and ecu everything ran great from the time i turned the key, spun a bearing, put a h22a in from h motors real clean motor, i got nuthing but problems it idles around 2 up and down real rough blowing black smoke taking major fuel but wont take it when i give it, throws an iac code but my iac is fine, tried a stock p13 gets a little worse. dont know what to do please help my only car to drive!! thanks zack!

resistor box for injectors ?
my h22 del sol has a resistor box for its injectors

If it's running real rich theres a few things to check. First, check the spark plugs and see if they're fouled yet or clogged with black carbon crap, check ur timing and timing belt make sure it's not off. Check ur map/tps/o2 sensors and make sure they're working properly, all I got for now. Does it always run rich no matter what? What year is the motor, obd1 or obd2?

what codes are you throwing?

and are you sure you have the right plug on the iac.

he coulve mixed up the coolant temp and vtec switch plug- it makes it run like ****, recheck all your wiring

ive got a resistor box, my plugs fowled right when i started it, it ran a tps map and 02, i cleaned the throtle body and got a dif. map those codes are fine, still runing an 02,my dad is a machinest and he ported the butterflies out and and he seemed to have milled through the iac ports but i have a stock top section of the manifold on it and it eliminated the smoke, ive got the timing belt off rite now, i believe my cam gears were off a few teeth im working on that rite now. its 245 in the morning in pa so im sure ill have a new post tommarow hang with me thanks!!!!!!

and the v-tec plug and coolant plug are on the opposite side of the manifold, kinda aware of that, thanks though

If ur cam gears were off by 1 tooth it would run like crap likr ur saying, if they were off by a few I don't even think it would start, let us know once u get the belt fixed and back on though.

yea my cam gears were off 3 teeth i cant believe it even started. they are dead on now, im still havin the reving problem but i realized the intake manifold my dad machined was milled out too far on the bottom and its taking air in like a feind, im gettin a stock manifold from my buddy hopefully tommarow, i think that should do it. Ill let yous know, thanks fellas!!!
