How do you convert ODB2 to ODB1 on an H23A Vtec (accord engine)
I've decided I want to get an H23A Vtec engine from the accord sir-t wagon .. from my research its the same h22a head, but a better balanced H23 crank with ~10:1 compression. Its also ODB2.
I'll be mating it up with my current H23 Transmission.
Since my car is ODB1 now (and i've checked, pre-wired for vtec). I'd like to keep it ODB1 ..
What do I need to change on the longblock to get it to ODB1 with working vtec ?
P13 ECU I assume ? ...

Ditch the resistor box, use your stock h23 dizzy (not h23a) and I think you will be good. Yes p13 ecu will be a good start.

Why go to the trouble? It really doesn't make a difference.
