Honda Prelude BB9, O2 wiring at C212 conn
Please help.
In this picture is C212 (is this C212) connector at sub frame at passenger side in Honda Prelude 1998, BB9, F20A4.
Can somebody to tell me - which 4 wires is for front O2 sensor? BB9 have only one O2 sensor, at exhaust header (4-1).
Connector have 8 pines, but only 7 pines are useable.
If you can see, white wire have red dot - this is signal from O2. I have tested other wires from O2 sensor to found wires on C212 connector, but I have found only one wire from heater of O2 sensor.
Other 2 wires from O2 sensor - O2 ground and second heater wire - is somewhere merged together.
So,
O2 sensor have 4 wires - O2 impulse, O2 ground, and two wires for heater.
C212 connector at top side have 4 wire, yellow-white/black-white-brown/black.
I found:
O2 impulse - white
One wire heater - brown/black
One wire heater+O2 ground - white/black.
Can this be true, that this two wires is merged?
I have this problem because somebody put O2 sensor before catalytic converter, and put wires from C212 connector to down to cat. (swap engine)
I broked O2 sensor, and now I put new sensor to exhaust header, where O2 sensor must be on this engine. But now is problem to connect O2 sensor to his connector, because connector is at catalytic converter. I want to cut connector and re-wiring wires to C212 connector.
Long story, I'm bad at English, just want help. Maybe somebody know's which wire goes to which places.
