Honda prelude automatic transmission to manual
Hello. I have 98 Honda prelude. And it is manual. Recently the engine went bad and I had to buy an engine. I found an engine for an automatic transmission for fair price. How do I change the automatic to manual?

The new motor you buy that has an attached automatic transmission attached. You have to remove the automatic transmission.
To do that you unbolt it from the motor then separate the transmission from the motor.
Then remove the drive plate from the crankshaft and replace it with a flywheel from your current motor and replace with flywheel and clutch assembly from old motor. Then attached the manual transmission to the new motor.
If you have never done a clutch job before the task to do this will be a bit daunting but it is not impossible.
If you have the helm's service manual handy, you should review the information before you dive into the job.
