Hey im removing my motor and im NOt replacing the axles... How can i move them out, so i can pull out the motor? if u could MS paint (color in) which bolts need to be rmoved.. help! thanks!

see the castle nut at the very bottom left of the 3rd pic? that needs to come off then you have to pry the ball joint from the lower control arm, which can be a pain if its rusty. be prepared to put some major muscle into it if it has never been touched.

other than that, just take the axle nut off, thats the big one on the center of the hub i think its like a 30 mm. at that point you can swing the hub out disconnecting it from the wheel side of the axle, and you just use a pry bar at the transmission side to loosen it up then you can pretty much pull it out.

Remove the axle nut i think its a 36mm/breakover bar , then upper bolt 12 or 14mm iirc on the wishbone and the lower bolt and nut 17mm and 19mm iirc.

pull these three bolts and one not pictured to remove the fork from the bottom of the shock.

pull down the hub assembly (careful not to stress the axle boot)

pry out axle from engine side.

you can do this without removing the axlenut at all

you will most likely need a puller to seperate the ball joint from the lca( i bought a pitman arm puller), mine makes me jump everytime it pops them loose

If you are going to remove the engine with the tranny attached, you must remove at least the passenger side axle. Or, you can unbolt the tranny from the block and pull just the engine out separately, though I have not tried it this way. I would suggest removing the crank pulley in any case, because it will be a squeeze.

When pulling an engine with the tranny attached, here is what I normally do (in broad terms): put the car on blocks, remove hood, drain fluids, disconnect hoses, wires etc., separate passenger knuckle (use a bearing puller on the taper joint to preserve the rubber boot) and pull the inboard axle joint out of the tranny (I leave it attached to the knuckle). Then hook up the hoist and loosen the mounts. Separate the drivers' inboard joint from the intermediate shaft, remove crank pulley. Lift the engine out at an angle (adjustable straps are nice), with the timing belt end much higher than the tranny until the tranny clears the passenger side motor mount. Lift it out a bit at a time and make sure you don't still have something attached or hanging up. Make sure to not kink the shift cables. I can pull an engine/tranny about as fast as I can pull just the tranny. If you are going to have it apart for a while, I would document the disassembly with notes labels, parts baggies, etc. so you can put it all back without relying on memory. Here I took the picture and pointed out a few things, I did axle replacement before and I know your not trying to replace them but I do know how to remove the axle.

Lubricate the nuts first with some lubricant and wait few minutes.

First the 2 circles that you have already placed; I added arrows pointing towards them, they are the nuts you will need to remove.

Remove the ball joint nut first, then notice the 2 small filled in circles I have added in; use a heavy mallet preferably metal head and smack these points hightlighted a few times until the LCA comes down.

Then remove the nut and bolt for the lower shock, and then push out the brake assembly and the axle will come out on that end, lower it passed the LCA and pull it from the engine block.

guys there is no need to take the swaybar endlink loose....you can get the shaft out just taking the ball joints loose and the shock fork off....

I agree, but if he is just removing the engine/tranny, then all he needs to take off is the taper joint (lower left in his pic). This gives enough room to pull the inboard axle joint out of the tranny. The axle itself can stay attached to the car.
