260 psi compression test!!!
around what compression is that you think?
this head and head gasket combo bumped me up from 200-260. i didnt think this head was milled that much! the turbo defentilly spools up faster!
i'm thinking from 9.5-10.5:1
going to do a leakdown for fun now.
got an appointment for the dyno mon. morning.

Re: 260 psi compression test!!! (Turbo Sam)
wel the head had to be milled twice due two different iccendents. the last time it had .005 taken off, which as i think about it is ~.25 point.
also im using stock headgasket cause i didnt want to wait for a thicker one. the 200 psi was on a fully stock head .043 head gasket. 260 is on the milled twice head w/.5mm oversized ferria valvetrain, and .029 head gasket.
add that all up and prob. right w/the 11:1. damn! well screw it, i always said high compression was they way to go...good thing i got ed tuning mine.
all this is on a stock bottom end...for now while i upgrade to pauters in the other one.

3rd bar? Isn't that right in the middle? If so, I wouldn't be concerned as long as it stays there. If you run at 3/4 for an extended time, then I would be scared. But good luck running that high compression. I had always wanted someone to try it out (well-tuned) on a stock block and see what happens. What psi are you going to push?

Re: 260 psi compression test!!! (symba)
well i meant 3/4. going to push 8-10 psi. i know my fan is ****, but it worked fine when i was fully stock, w/turbo. going to try a few things so well see.
ya i always wanted to run higher compression turbo, but like 10-10.5:1. oh well i guess 11:1 will help spool the damn bigass 60-1

so i think i fixed the overheating. there was a small leak in my heater hose, causing me to lose coolent. i changed that and drove for a min. it seemed good, but ihad to go to work. well see this weekend.
and on a side note, my dyno app. was changed to thurs.
