Ok guys I have a major problem. i spun a bearing and they cant fix the crank. I called every single shop, store and crankshaft company through the US and no one has it. I have searched about this topic and although they talk about h22a1 and a4 differences, they dont specifically go into detail about the crank. I need to know if the crankshaft of these 2 engines are different and in which ways. my last option is to buy a new one from the dealer for $992. obviously I am trying to avoid that. Please help me out here guys. Thanks!

the difference between them is the journals.. 55 for 98 and up..
50mm for 97 and bellow. if my memory serves me right.

H22A1(93-96)/H22A4(97-98) - MAIN 50mm, ROD 48mm
H22A4(98.5+) - MAIN 55mm, ROD 48mm
B20A1 - MAIN 55mm, ROD 48mm
B16A/17/18/20b/z/etc - MAIN 55mm, ROD 45mm

Which bearing did you spin? Is the block still good? What year is your Lude?

My a4 has a 50mm and it's a 97.. As you said they changed it the next year

I spun piston 3 bearing. The block is fine . I have a 2000 lude.
