h22a vtec swap vtec dont seem is working
I have a 92 prelude si that I just replace the h23a1 engine for a h22a vtec engine, I also replace the computer on it. the only that I left was the hardness of the v23a1. When I got the computer, I also got the 2 extra wires that connect to the v-tec, but it doesn't seem that is working. how can I check if v tec work and also having issues with the map sensor, I replace it once but it showing it with the check engine light and when I put it to drive, the green light at the dashboard that indicate that is in drive start blinking. please some one help me to fix this couple of issues

VTEC doesn't work with a Knock sensor code actively stored. Yes, you will need an automatic P13 ECU to communicate with the transmission control unit... that would be the extra plug at the ECU that isn't plugged into anything.
Next, fix the knock sensor issue. Then verify that you have your VTEC solenoid and pressure switch wires connected to the ECU at the proper pin locations. Check continuity between the ECU and both VTEC plugs.

yeah its probably what JRCivic1 said. just get the right ecu, hook it up, figure out whats up with the knock sensor, and check wires. if that doesnt work i had problems with the filter in the vtec solenoid being clogged. can hurt to check that once you have the other stuff sorted. good luck
