Default h22 oil filter

i went and got a honda oil filter for my jdm h22, its the new long skinny kind vs. the short fat ones, anyways, when screwing it on it goes all the way and the metal outside the o-ring starts scraping, but it seems like its not forming a tight enough seal and oil is going to leak when going through the filter, is this normal or ...???

thanks

If you are really concerned then get yourself the filter for the S2000-fits perfect and is the old style. I stocked up on them for the Prelude. You can also use a K&N, which does have a warranty. There have been threads about filters on another board and the conclusions are mixed. The NAPA Gold is also supposed to be good.

MObil 1 if you are willing to spend the money, although the Honda one is just as much. Dont do Fram, they are useless.
