h22 cylinder not firing
hey i have a 1994 integra with an h22 swap, about 6 months ago the timing belt blew so i replaced the waterpump put a new head on even tho they other one looked fine and did it rite new headgasket ect,, my first cilinder isent firing the compression is at about 220 i pulled the fuel injector and it looked fine,, even put it to the # 2 cilinder and all is working fine,, the timing is rite to so im running out of options any ideas?

last week i replaced the cap changed plugs and rotar i kno my wires are good i just cant figure it out ive tested for spark, tryed the fuel injectors in the # 2 cilinder and its fine checked the timing checked the compression ... its just not firing and it blows gas out the exzaust bad,, and my ecu is in safe mode (im guessing because of the cilinder) and wont rev past 3500 i really need help on this one

i also have msd and was wondering if that could be the problem because ive heard there not great on 4 cilinder cars ,, although i dont see how this would be the problem if the other cilinders are firing

Which box do you have and do you have it configured right? The obvious option would be to temporarily bypass it and see if it is the issue or not. How did you test for spark and what was the result? Is the spark plug wet in the non-firing cylinder? Just because the injector is working doesn't mean it is firing.

the msd was in the car wen i bought it and it ran great i tested the spark plug by acually watchin it spark ..but there is alot of carbon on the plugs,after about 10 miles they look like theve had thousands on em ne ideas?
