Re: ground control coilovers.. (sslude)
Ground Controls are true coilovers but because they are not built into a shock like a Tien/Buddy Club/JIC some people don't believe so. First off you need to realize that with any higher rate spring you will need to upgrade your shocks. Ground Controls can work great on a streetcar if you have a shock that can handle them. Because lots of people just replace their springs with Ground Controls and don't upgrade their shock sometimes they get a bad rap. If you decide to go with the Ground Controls I would recommend you also get some Koni yellow shocks at the same time. If you tell Ground Control you are using Konis they can provide a sleeve that fits on the Koni collar perfectly. I have been using Ground Controls for 4 years with Koni shocks and highly recommend them. For a good write-up on the Ground Control/Konis visit this site http://www.ntpog.org/reviews/g...shtml
