Default G23 Vtec

Ok so I am going to being an engine build as the title says im going to go with the G23 vtec. Now for the most part what i have read this is virtually a bolt together affair, the only main thing needing to be modified is 2 of the oil return passages in the h22a4 head need to b blocked off because they dont corresspond with the 6 on the f23a1 block... However other than that the k20a pistons should just slide right in with no machining required from what i heard, correct me if im wrong...
Is there anyone who is currently running this build themselves, any little hints or things to look out for?
here is what im hoping to use for materials:
f23a1 block (obd2 from accord or CL), with stock rods, crank etc...

h22a4 head (obd2 from prelude) hoping to track down some type s cams and euro r IM

k20a(2) pistons (02 up rsx-s) supposedly the only pistons that fit the bore of an f23a1 from stock yet still have a floating wrist pin!

Make sure you flip those K20 pistons around and get the valve reliefs resized

I just wanted to make sure on what you're saying. So what do you mean by flipping the K20 pistons around?

Do some research on piston pin offset. On most Honda pistons, the pin isnt drilled through the center of the piston. Its offset. K and F engines rotate in different directions. The offsets are opposite. If you use Honda K pistons, make sure you install them backwards. (arrows facing the rear). Failure to install them backwards will result in a noisy engine and the piston skirts will wear prematurely. Then you will have to deal with the valve relief issue. Aftermarket pistons usually have 0 offset. You wont have an issue if you use aftermarket pistons. Make sure they have 0 offset when you purchase. Thanks to PirateMcfred and Invadertrax for the foresight to consider piston offset. Make sure to calculate your compression ratio as well.

does anyhting like that need to be done when using a h22 stock piston in a f22 block?
