Thats possible, but if your are throwing the egr code then im sure its because of the egr wiring, last time i asked, you said you used the orange wire from the egr solenoid on the driver side if the engine bay, if you are then thats probably your issue, you have to route the pink wire from the egr plug directly to the orange wire pin going into the ecu plug, remember also the thickness of your ecu wires is probably critical too

That is the thing I have been meaning to ask you Customs-25 when you first started your car and ran it with the old way you had it wired (not directly to the ecu at that point) was your car drive-able did it go through the rpm's or powerband smoothly without and jerking or hesitation? Even with the EGR wired directly to the ecu I still had running issues it was not smooth or enjoyable at all. It had hesitation as it always has had and maybe having the euro-r ecu with the rywire distributor harness is the way to go and get rid of the issues I am having.

Figured it out all out for my car so far with this setup. It came down to being a bad EGR valve car runs great without it. So I just installed my EGR blockoff plate and left the egr plugged in and mounted it over the blockoff.

This is why I just went n spent the money for S300, Time/frustration and the ability to tune is always priority. Keep it simple stupid is my motto even if I have to spend a couple extra bucks.
