Wheel Hop?
I did a searched a found results concerning 5th gens but not alot of info.
I have a 4th with a LSD and stock rims and 205/55/15 BFG's with like 30 psi and these things will not spin, just hops like a jackrabbit. (not alot of options on traction bars)
What can I do?
Would a low tire pressure help?
How much doues motor mounts and bushing really help?
And TIA-Leo

Re: Wheel Hop? (BlueLude94)
well forgive me i just woke up so maybe i am missing something. you say it "will not spin just hops like a jackrabbit". i am assuming the tires are spinning and that's what giving you the jackrabbit. i have motor mounts inserts and they have helped. i am not longer at the jackrabbit stage, maybe a young grasshopper stage, if any at all.
hopefully this has helped.

Well, ya it spins, but bounces more
And the front LCA bushing, jsut replace them or is there like a polyurethane replacement that helps.
I was running some crappy 215/45's for awhile and it wasn't that bad but these BFG's just bounce like a basketball(ya, I'm having fun with these analogies)
And as for pushing my car in a river, Tried that too
Didn't work J/K
That happened about six months ago when I hydroplaned doin about sixty, since then all new body work and paint job.

Re: Wheel Hop? (staticrex)
Ya it was pretty sad, Don't have any big pics(takin with camera phone) but here's a closer one.
Most of the damage occurred when the tow company was pulling it out, it slid down the hill it to the tree's.
At that point I told them to leave before they srewed up anymore, waited for my dad to show up with his big-*** blazer, wench, and a chainsaw.
