Default Difference Between Header/Exhaust Manifold Gasket???

Ok, so I bought a header for my H23 from Ebay (I know, bad choice but I thought I was going to sell the car) and the header came with the gasket that goes on the head, the gasket that goes in between the two pieces and the gasket that connects the end of the header and the catalytic converter. My question is: WTF is the difference between a header gasket and exhaust manifold gasket? I need the gasket that goes on the head but everywhere I call (Autozone, Napa, Advance, AA Speed, etc.) they say they only have a gasket that is like two thin sheets of aluminum (some kind of metal). The gasket that came with my header was pretty thick and had holes in it (or little punctures?) When I put the header on, I didn't tighten two of the bolts all the way down and now the exhaust is leaking and makes a nasty noise (like a bicycle with a card stuck in the spokes of the wheel) Can somebody please help me? I need this done by Sunday and the only place that I called and has a good one is AA Speed (a copper gasket). Can I use this gasket and be good? It is exactly like the one that came with the oem manifold.

the one that came with the header would have worked fine, but the metal gasket is how they are OEM, so either is fine.

that was probably one of those shitty cork type gaskets .

header, exhaust manifold, same difference. if it fits, use it.

No, it wasn't cork. I have seen that material and it wasn't that. It would have burned right through it. But now the gasket has a "missing piece" where it is leaking from. Like it burned right through it... oops. maybe it was what you were talking about... So is a copper gasket better? Or does it even make a difference? Supposedly Mr Gasket says it is really good and applicable for turbo and racing applications but... even I could say something like that about something but it would turn out to be ****.

you just need the regular one thats a few pieces of thin steel. almost anywhere should have it and it probably does go by exhaust manifold gasket at the local parts stores (same thing).
