Anyone actually use one of the EBay tast pipe/high flow cats without the O2 sim. and not get a CEL??
Trying to see if anyone with an OBD II H22 has purchased one of the EBay test pipes like:

and did not buy the O2 sim. What were the results, any CEL's?
Basically need to know if I will have to buy one of the O2 sims. to run one of those .....

I've heard numerous stories of the brick breaking loose inside the cat and people shooting them out like a volcano.

Thats not a hi flow cat though, thats a resonated test pipe. Two different things. And about not throwing a code, well i ran a test pipe for 2 years and would only throw a code if i was going a little hard on her when she wasnt warmed up. Other then that i never had any problems.

i did the obd-2 workaround and havent gotten check engine light and i have that ebay ss resonator as pictured and its pretty nice, i like it.

I was planning on probably getting the O2 sim. eventually, but I just wanted to know if I could run the test-pipe without it ........
It supposedly has an outlet to thread in the stock O2 sensor, but I am always skeptical .....
