Check Engine light and gas cap
I know that if your gas cap is not tightened enough it can cause your check engine light to come on. I just noticed that my 2000 H22 doesn't have the little piece of metal that covers the hole going into the tank on the other side of my fuel cap. Can this also cause the check engine light?

a mutiple of things could cause your check engine light to come on. First you'll have to see why it's on. You can take your car to Auto Zone and have them check it for you for FREE, or you can do it yourself http://www.hondaprelude.to/art....html

Thanks, that was a lot of help. I got a code 80 which is the EGR valve. How much does that thing usually cost to get fixed?
