car dieing due to turning on accessories
Ok my car's RPM drops a couple hundred whenever the lights or A/c is switched on. At a complete stop it's fine.
But while driving then hitting the clutch and letting it coast it will die. It doesn't shake like a stall. You don't realize the car dies until you try to hit the gas or steer.
I don't believe it's a coincidence as I can make it die fairly quickly after turing on lights or a/c.
Any ideas guys?

Get the battery and the alternator tested.

replaced the battery and the alternator tested out good
mechanic shop said it was a bad compressor fan or something, not sure how that would affect the lights too though but we'll see

Re: (vthondaboi)
Sounds possibly like a short somewhere. Not sure why it wouldn't die at idle, though. I'm curious too because recently my car just died on the freeway; didn't even realize it had until I went to put on some gas and then realized it was dead. Now I can't get it to turn over and my battery is draining. However, I had the battery and alternator tested today and both were fine, but I'm getting some voltage to the negative battery clamp even when it's disconnected from the battery.
