Well...after I swapped my carbon fiber trunk my Brake Lamp came on and my trunk light won't turn off. It does close and lock, so I don't know what I did wrong. Everything is hooked up, because sometimes it flickers. Is it just a coincidence that the break lamp is on? I have Brake fluid and every light turns on. Thanks!

have you tried replacing the bulb that is flickering? also have you checked to see if the pins in the harness for the brake lamp are plugged all the way in?

I mean the trunk light on my dash flickers. All the bulbs are fine.

Pins in the harness? Are those the screw type things with the red on them? If it is I might be in trouble because I don't know how or where to put those on.

Would the trunk/brake light turn on if you don't have any license plate lights?

ive never really looked to find it, but there has got to be a sensor somewhere on the trunk that isnt making contect the way it should. find the sensor and you fixed your problem.

brake light is completely unrelated unless you have some kind of short in your dash

Do anybody know for sure if there is a sensor in the trunk? If so, where? I'm completely stumped on this one. Thanks for any input.

Step out and watch the brake lights and make sure they both work. The dash indicator light does come on if a bulb is out, and the 4G bulbs have 2 circuits in each one that can go bad.

I put a CF trunk on mine with no issues, so it's probably related to something else. Maybe you didn't re-attach a ground somehwere.

i agree with the ground. take a test light and check your ground when you shut the trunk. if so, find another one.
