Default Bleeding ABS Pump Manually

So,

I've had the dreaded ABS light for quite a while and I'm getting ready to sell my car so I'm trying to fix it. I went ahead and bled my brakes today since it has been 2 or 3 years, and I was going to bleed the ABS unit as well.

When I pulled the code a while ago it was the abs modulator unit. So I figured a bleed may fix it as it looks like it is WAY overfilled. I pulled out the ABS relay, opened the bleed nipple, attached my bleed hose, then jumpered the two largest terminals on the fuse box where the relay went.

I hear the pump run, but nothing comes out of the bleed nipple. Something else I'm missing here? Anyone tried this method and have any insight?

Surely others have done this considering every other prelude has this problem.

Just unscrew the ABS light. Instant fix. :p

But seriously, you may have to use a pressure bleeder to bleed the ABS system. There are lots of different systems and ways to do it. It might be best to take it to a shop, as unpleasant as that my be.
