Well we replaced timing belt on my car, but it bogs and loses power up to 2K rpms, so we think it's timing, we're gonna go back in there and adjust it tomorrow. Well i searched and i couldn't find timing marks on the board, i went to honda dealership and made me a copy of cam gears from their service manual, and i saw that the arrows are suppose to point up, i remember mine were pointing to the side when we were doing it the first time so i'm way off. So, if anybody has any pictures from helms or anything of the marks, or the timing adjustment procedure its self, please post them, also hook me up with some tips i know we did alotta **** wrong. thanks

Ok, i got the timing stright, it wasn't actually timing i think i got some bent valves from timing belt snapping on me cuz my friend put SOHC crank pulley on it and it caused it to snap, anyway, now i need a diagram on how to install fuel gauge meter, it's the lil **** next to fuel pump in the trunk, thanks

Line up the mark on the flywheel in the trans window (if you're not sure put screwdriver through the spark plug hole #1 to be all the way up) then line up the cams arrows up and the marks in line with the head edge.
The way you desribed it I'm suprised the valves are not bend yet.

i'm hoping like hell they aint bent, cuz i we had the arrows sideways instead of pointing up, i dunno how to line it up by the flywheel, i see the mark on the block but dunno what to line it up with

the key on the crank pully is the same as lining up the flywheel. just line the key on crank with the tdc mark on the engine. then match the cam gears (arrows up and 2 notches in line). then for the balance belt use the back service hole to get the rear balance pully at tdc. get a 4 inch screw and mark it at 2.9 inches stick it in the service hole to lock it at tdc. then line the mark on oil pump with mark on engine. then your done

make sure you tension the timing belt after the belt is on.

tighten the 14mm tensioner bolt then rotate the cams
3 teeth counterclockwise using a 19mm socket on the crank pulley,
then retighten the 14mm bolt

if you look through the hole where you can see the flywheel there
is a piece sticking out of the block that has 2 prongs facing one way and
another one facing the oppisite way.

line the white mark on the flywheel with the prong in the middle.
