1996 prelude ABS light staying on
Hi everyone, thought I'd jump right into this after seeing this light stay on for months. Basically I'm just trying to diagnose my ABS light and get a better understanding of the root to the problem. It doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to have the means to fix it but I'm just curious. I have done some research and I have followed this write up on diagnosing it. Honda Prelude Forum
After connecting the dual sided wires to the ABS connector behind my console and turning the key, the ABS light shut off and then flashed once and within a second or two it flashed twice a little more rapidly than the first. So total it flashed 3 times but I'm not sure if I should diagnose it as 3 long flashes or as 12 (1+2) which would be ABS Pump Motor Circuit Problem} ABS Motor Relay, ABS Unit Fuse, ABS Motor Fuse. After pulling the ABS B2 15A fuse for a few seconds following then by turning the car on, the ABS light cleared and was no longer present. I took it around the block and immediately after putting it in gear and going the light returned. It seems as if the wheel sensors can disrupt the light and it would make some sense to that being my issue because my speedometer is off by around 10 mph at any given time but the flashes point away from that. For now I will just put black duct tape over the light, but if anyone has suggestions or deeper knowledge on this I would greatly appreciate feedback. I am willing to post pictures and videos too if helpful for you techs out there. Thanks!

It may be this....

I think the flashes are a little goofy because I kept thinking mine was a code 12 or 13 from the flashes but apparently it's just a pain to bridge those wires securely and concentrate on the timing of t he flashes.. it turned out it was repeating code 1 three times
There's a wire you can put 12v too and listen to the pump it should sound rough and chatter like abs usually sounds when it kicks in while driving.. if it makes a smooth high speed whirring noise the impellers are stuck, there's more details in the thread I linked too...
