How do I pull code for my check enging light? Car has been acting up. Put brand new clutch and pressure plate. Runs good no problem with that. But car dont wanna start sometimes. I could just hear the starter click. No crank. But if I try it a couple times fast it starts. But getting worse now. Wanna check the engine light. Someone know where its at?

You likely wont be getting a code for something like that. Try checking for voltage at the small wire going to the starter when you turn the car to start position.

Likely this is ignition switch issue if it never does it on a cold start.

So no way possible to pull the code? Heard you could do it with a paper clip. Just dont know where to put it

Pull back the carpet on the passenger side floor, under the dash where your feet rest.

There will be a window or display on the metal panel where the ecu is.

Turn the key to "on." Not all the way to start.

A red light will illuminate with long and short lengths of light.

This will be your code. Cycle the key to repeat the code. You might have more than one code as well. They always start with a long length of light.
