teknic speedstar experience? vs dainese laguna seca?
hey guys i am looking into finally getting myself another one piece and i have found used teknic speedstar and dainese laguna seca suits in my size at comparable prices
does anyone have experience with the speedstar or laguna seca? fitment? crash?
theyre both badass suits and i know the teknic is worth more but dainese is... dainese lol
which one would you choose if you were me? this is between a silver/black speedstar and black laguna seca
pics for reference:
as far as the rest of my gear goes i have:
Flat black shoei rf1000 with gold visor
blue and white held phantoms
red white oxtar tcs replicas

I have a teknic Xcelerator and I love it, I cant vouch for dainese, but having owned a bunch of stuff from teknic I can really say I like the quality a lot.

i've never seen the seca crash, but i saw the teknic crash and it crashes well. Friend highsided in riverside at 130 mph and the suit held up fine.
i think the seca looks better though

I have the Seca myself and i love it. have yet to crash in it *knock on wood!*, but it's damn comfy and it's perforated which is nice for trackdays/hot days. only gripe is the leg fits a bit odd as it will accept the dainese boots where the suit goes over it, and also standard boots. My Sidi's fit over the suit but the suit gets tight down near the calves.

It's cut like that quite correctly and on purpose... you are SUPPOSE to tuck your cuffs in your boots.(its been done that way for hundreds years or longer...)
Over the boot cuffs is an x gen Fashion statement.

yea i read about that
dainese offers "in" or "out" boots depending on your preference
however, i will always run the suit under the boot unless someone wants to buy me valentinos leathers
