new 81 cb900c
just picked up a new bike, 81 cb900c. hoping it will be more comfortable to ride than my naked 88 cbr600f on the highway commute. paid 450, the guy drove it straight to my door in his pickup, all its gonna need is some carb cleaning, maybe a battery, maybe a rear tire, and eventually a seat cover. overall im pretty happy so far. and my favorite part, no rust in the gas tank!
sittin next to my cbr.

Re: new 81 cb900c
carbs are clean, it runs. took it for a ride, and i think the front forks may have been bent. it doesnt handle quite right, pulls to the left a little.
i also noticed the #2 header is dented in, i dont know what the guy must have hit to dammage just that pipe.
its also too heavy for me to me to put on the centerstand, till i figure out some sort of technique. also my axle stand wont work in the rear because theres too much going on with the ring and pinion, and exhaust pipes. so thats another problem ill have to deal with.
