Default My "new" Hurricane

I just got my first bike, a 1987 Honda Hurricane 600, bought it off my friends brother for $1000.
The only thing wrong is some damage to the right front faring from when he dropped it.

Opinions, please...

Classic CBR. Very nice.

Looks like the tank and exhaust have been damaged too.

ya, forgot to mention that, but a friend of mine will spray the plastic for free if i do all the prep, I'm not secure in my paint skills to try that yet. I'm going to have him try to pull the dent out of the tank too.

Wow a Hurricane WITH the plastics !! Talk about a rarity !! Whatever you do, dont get rid of em, even if you decide to go street fighter with it, those plastics are so hard to find anywhere !!

Congrats on the ride dude !!

Haha I was about to say that. Amazingly good condition for a hurricane.

I just creamed my pants. Loving the black/red paint. Get that ish fixed and repainted *black/red of course* looks good for a 87.

Excellent Choice ! And a great deal at $1k !
Just be extra careful cuz it's your first bike and it's definitely fast enough to get you into trouble quick

Congrats !

Living in the north east, it's a bit depressing buying a bike in November, it could snow anyday from what I'm told. I wont be able to ride until at least april and even then the roads will be very sandy, which is what led to the damage thats on the bike now.
