My "new" Hurricane
I just got my first bike, a 1987 Honda Hurricane 600, bought it off my friends brother for $1000.
The only thing wrong is some damage to the right front faring from when he dropped it.
Opinions, please...

Looks like the tank and exhaust have been damaged too.</TD></TR></TABLE>
ya, forgot to mention that, but a friend of mine will spray the plastic for free if i do all the prep, I'm not secure in my paint skills to try that yet. I'm going to have him try to pull the dent out of the tank too.

Haha I was about to say that. Amazingly good condition for a hurricane.

Excellent Choice ! And a great deal at $1k !
Just be extra careful cuz it's your first bike and it's definitely fast enough to get you into trouble quick
Congrats !

Re: (miketegra)
Living in the north east, it's a bit depressing buying a bike in November, it could snow anyday from what I'm told. I wont be able to ride until at least april and even then the roads will be very sandy, which is what led to the damage thats on the bike now.
