try doing a search first, it's been posted before, but here is a DIY for an F4, same thing i belive

3.4 quarts if you're changing just the oil. 3.7 quarts if you're also changing the filter. Don't forget to lube the o-ring of the oil filter with a little bit of oil before installing it.
And don't forget to put the drain plug back in before you pour in oil.

haha, thanks marmalade... i just did 4 quarts. I miss this forum, sucks i dont have a bike anymore... damn i miss my 6
