F4i Battery?
Real quick... My battery is dead after the winter rest. Is there any real benefit to buying an oem Honda battery, or will the 1/4 price wal-mart equivilant do the trick just the same? Thanks!

Check the specifications on your old battery and make sure that you get the same if you choose the Wal-Mart brand. I bought a Yuasa replacement for my bike because the idiot who owned it before me bought an incorrect type.

If you're going to leave your bike like this again in the future, you might want to invest in a Battery Tender (http://www.batterytender.com/).

Re: F4i Battery? (marmaladeboy)
thanks for the input... I decided to go the honda route and snagged a battery from my budy (who happens to be the parts manager for a huge honda bike shop)... but I'll still get one of those tender things. Thanks again!

Heh... if you were local then no problem... shiping would most likely negate any cost savings I could get you though.

Yeah, sometimes living in CA sucks. Except when the weather is beautiful all-year round.
