Default 2006 honda f4i - will not start, FI indicator on, solid red light and blinking oil

i'm back again. my girl dropped her bike, low sided it on the right side. she did put a little hole in the clutch/oil cover. i did patch that up with jb weild.

the bike will not turn over.
yes - fuel pump primes
yes - brand new battery
yes - BAS is leveled off
yes - i see the engine trying to crank over when i take off the side cap where the clutch is and oil goies.
yes - oil is full
from what i can tell, everything is plugged in tight.

the bike does try to crank over, but the FI light comes on and the oil light keeps blinking and a red solid light on dash is lit. i crank the bike over the lights go away but come back on.

any ideas? help.

if your FI light is on, jump the harness located under the seat towards the rear on the drivers side.

Its a small black clip with 2 females and needs to be jumped with a paperclip. It should be very close to where your cbr600f4i logo is. The harness sits by itself. If you have trouble finding it after about 15 min, go ahead and remove the rear fairing. Its not too tough.

Once you plug that in, turn the bike on but dont try to start it. Count how many times the FI light blinks. Long lights count for 10, short lights count for 1.

Once you add up the number you have, find out what it is by googling it. I think you can find the code on fireblade.net because all honda sport bike codes are the same.

Once you do all of that, post back here. Maybe we can help you out more.

However, listening to your story, id guess that you should just go by a new clutch cover. You dont want that breaking while youre riding. No good

Well, I did find a manual on line for the bike, wrong year but the codes seemed to help. The FI light was blinking 9 times. Thus, I did check the connections on the right crank case. After checking everything was tight, I did open the crank case cover and notice the Pule Genrator metal pin was not under the roater. I took it off before and had put it on upside down.
Once I put it back, I tested it out and the bike started.
So, it's up and running now.

Thanks for your help.
