Default 2001 CR250R

I just bought a CR250R from my cousin for 2k. I was at the honda place and the guy sold me some 85-95 transmission fluid and i dont know where to put it. Is there a special place, or do I put it in the oil hole. One more thing, what kinda of ratio do you use when mixing gas in your bikes. I foul plugs about everyother time i ride. Im using br9es NGK R plugs.

The transmission fluid goes in the only place it can go; in to the dipstick hole. A two stroke motor is lubricated by the oil in the gas. I mix mine at 32:1 using HP2. Get a container called a Ratiorite, it'll make mixing premix so much easier.
You might want to look for a 20" front wheel for your 250, all the factory Hondas ran a 20" wheel that year.

Yeah, the smaller wheel will give you a bigger tire with a bigger contact patch. All the factory Hondas (AMA, FIM) ran that wheel. I think Honda even offered it as an option.

Change your plug to a BR8ES, I used to foul plugs all the time on my 125 I had years ago. Swapped the plug to 1 hotter and problem went away.

Riiiight. Anyway, the 9 in the part number of your plug denotes the heat range, 9 is pretty much the coldest as far as I know. As I said above, go to an 8. Whether or not the plug you listed is exactly the correct part or not I don't know for sure. I checked http://www.ngk.com for you and it calls for a BR8EG (hmm like I said, one heat range hotter). That BR8EG is what Ive got in my 03 CR250 and have not had problems fouling plugs, but then again I'm just a tard. Oh and for newbie dickwads that are just trolling, talking **** to gain posts.....try to actually contribute with information when posting, its a long shot, but you might gain respect that way.
