Web Camshafts
Trying to get Web Camshafts to possibly make some cam regrinds for the 2015. --> Web Camshafts
Does anyone know if our stock cams are hydraulic or roller rocker? They are asking me and I have no idea either way.

you want them to make cams, but don't even know the very basic details of the factory cams? the grind of a cam depends on a lot of different things

Re: Web Camshafts
I told them that I am interested in some extra power/torque in the low/mid range with extra emphasis on the topend. I stated this is one of my daily drivers so it has to be able pass emissions. I will be bracket racing this car on the weekends at the dragstrip. I know nothing about how much valve lift, duration, etc that is needed. This is my criteria for the cams I want/need.
Could you help me with any of the very basic details of the stock cams lostforawhile? What are these very basic details I need to know before looking to have custom cams made? Thanks for any help.
Edit: I have been able to find out the majority of the information I need. Whether the valvetrain is roller type, rocker, flat tappet, etc, I have no idea. I can't find any information to say what they are either way.

well you seem to understand what I mean, thats good, you have to determine where you want your power, in what rpm range, is this for street use, occasional street strip use, etc. other modifications to the engine will also determine what cam you want to run, a basic intake, header exhaust doesn't do much, but when you combine that with a proper cam, head work, and tune your ECU to take advantage of those changes, then you can make power, you basically have to increase air flow all the way through the engine, and then tune for the fuel to use that extra airflow, if you have a bottleneck anywhere between the air coming in and going out, then the other mods become useless
